ResMed, a developer of medical equipment for respiratory disorders, has introduced Swift FX Nano, a new nasal mask designed for use with positive airway pressure therapy.
The ultra-soft and latex-free nasal mask has a new proprietary design, which keeps it small in size and unobtrusive without the need for rigid frames or forehead support.
The nasal mask features set-it-and-forget-it headgear, modified dual-wall cushion, ultra-smooth ball joint, whisper-quiet venting, and For Her option with headgear and cushion sizes designed for women.
ResMed sleep-disordered breathing vice president Jon Yerbury noted by combining the headgear design of a nasal pillows mask with the superior seal of a nasal mask the company has created something for patients who want an effective mask that takes up less space.
"There's a reason nasal masks are growing in popularity, and that's because they're comfortable and convenient.
"The Swift FX Nano goes one step further by being ultra-compact in size with minimal headgear and great performance," Yerbury added.
