Automechanika Frankfurt 2016 to Highlight Car-Washing Sector

The leading international names from the car-wash business will once again make presentations at this year's Automechanika Frankfurt, to run from September 13 to 17. Among the car-wash companies exhibiting there during the show will include Otto Christ AG, Istobal, Nilfisk, Adriateh, KAW Kiehl KG, Flowey Products, Favagrossa, Ergox and Alfred Korcher Vertriebs-GmbH, Frank GmbH, Kenotek, Faritec GmbH and WashTec Cleaning Technology GmbH.

The primary target group comprises international and German visitors from workshops and the trade. According to the last Automechanika visitor poll, one in ten visitors are interested in refuelling and car washes. Steffen Glockler, Car Wash Manager of Nilfisk GmbH, announced innovations in the field of intelligent control technology and new products for the self-service car wash and high-pressure cleaning segments: “For us, Automechanika ranks among the most important platforms for the sector when it comes to presenting new developments for commercial car washes and wheel cleaning systems.”

For Otto Christ, CEO of Otto Christ AG, the motto of this year's fair is Carwash 4.0, intelligent carwash systems: “We present smart technology that makes exacting carwashes even more effective and perfect. In this connection, Automechanika is the ideal platform for holding discussions and exchanging ideas and information with our key accounts, international distributors and business acquaintances, as well as existing and potential customers. The Carwash Show must go on!”

Describing his company's presentation this year, Thomas Hug, Head of Target Group Sales of Alfred Korcher Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, says, “More than ever before, the focus is on our complete range of cleaning systems for everything from show rooms, circulation areas, offices and washrooms in car dealers' to workshops and outdoor areas – as the market leaders for cleaning technology, we offer solutions for floors and coverings of all kinds, including the right cleaning agents. And, naturally, we will also be showing our broad spectrum of washing systems for cars. Which are also rounded off perfectly with selected detergents.”

The products of WashTec Cleaning Technology GmbH are aimed primarily at car dealers and workshops. Explaining, Sales Director Wolfgang Dietsch says, “Professional washing in connection with car servicing is growing in importance. Therefore, our exhibition stand in the heart of Automechanika 2016 focuses on special car-wash offers for this target group. Visiting us is sure to be worthwhile for everyone who uses a car wash purely for internal purposes, as an attraction for making customer contacts or as a genuine profit centre. We are looking forward to welcoming numerous existing and potential customers to our Automechanika exhibition stand and discussing our latest solutions with them.”

The seminar programme at Car Wash City is supported by Washtec Cleaning Technology GmbH, Korcher, KAW Kiehl, R+M de Wit, Nilfisk, Adriateh, Faritec and Koch Chemie. In addition to lectures on biological and cost-efficient water treatment and self-service car washes, lectures on intelligent solutions will be at the top of the agenda. Zoran Injac, Consultant for new technologies at Adriateh and Co-founder of Ready2Wash, Croatia, will present ‘Ready2wash' a monitoring and management system for filling-station operators combined with an app for end customers.

Germany's ‘carwashinfo' trade magazine will present the results of a national poll of drivers that offers insights into wash quality, satisfaction and the frequency carwashes are used. Additionally, visitors can take part in a competition to guess the speed of rotation of washing brushes.

Visitors will not only find car care and valeting exhibitors in Hall 9.1 but also on the nearby outdoor areas, F10 and F11. To date, around 90 percent of exhibitors from this product segment in 2014 have registered to take part again. They include Armored Auto UK Limited, a major key player based in the USA with subsidiaries in Europe and Asia.
