Transcat, a distributor of handheld test and measurement instruments, has completed the acquisition of Anacor Compliance Services.
Anacor provides specialized analytical, calibration, compliance and validation services as well as offers process validation and compliance qualification with protocol development and execution and final qualification documents to the life sciences industries.
Along with GC, HPLC and UPLC qualification services and temperature mapping validation services, Anacor also offers software and network validation, air sampler, particle counter and pipette calibration.
Terms of Transcat's deal with Anacor have not been disclosed.
Transcat president and CEO Charles Hadeed said consistent with the company's growth strategy, the acquisition provides for an expanded suite of quality based services to targeted life sciences industry customer base.
"We believe this addition capitalizes on the strength of our infrastructure and reputation for quality, service and integrity," Hadeed added.
