Learning Resources Is Teaming up with Green Board Games and Brainbox

Self-checking learning system has been combined with best selling learning game content.

Learning Resources is teaming up with Green Board Games and Brainbox for its latest licensed learning collaboration.

The firm is combining its popular Hot Dots self-checking learning system with Brainbox's best selling learning game content with the launch of its all-in-one interactive set of three activity books and Talking Hot Dots Pen.

The set focuses on geography themes including Flags, Places, Capitals and Currencies.

The Hot Dots Brainbox Let's Learn About Our World set (£19.95) includes three spiral bound books, each featuring 32 images to study with 96 accompanying multiple choice questions, focusing on key geography topics.

Children learn about the world by studying an image before flipping over the page and answering three multiple choice questions. As they learn geographical facts they also develop memory and observation skills.

The set also comes with the Hot Dots Talking Pen which responds to answer choices for self-checking, providing instant feedback, gently redirecting incorrect answers and congratulating correct ones.

Meanwhile, Flags features different flags from around the world, testing children's recognition skills and knowledge of the countries they represent, while Places broadens children's awareness of countries around the world through identifying landmarks and iconic objects. Capitals & Currencies helps children learn about the capital cities of different countries and the currencies and coinage associated with each.

Dennis Blackmore, MD of Learning Resources, said: "I am delighted; I've wanted to partner with Brainbox for some time now as I always knew it was a perfect brand fit for Hot Dots. We're committed to investing in these kinds of partnerships to grow the Hot Dots brands, so we're looking forward to developing our relationship with the Green Board Game Company in the coming months."

Gary Wyatt, chairman and founder of Green Board Game Company, added: "Brainbox is one of the leading visual observation games in the world, available in 23 languages and in 60 countries. In linking Brainbox content with the Hot Dots range, a valuable learning resource will be made available to millions of children around the globe."
