The Canadian OSB manufacturer Ainsworth Lumber is having the main machinery from its Cook OSB mill in Minnesota auctioned off. Maynard Industries is running the auction. The auction includes a multi-opening press supplied by Siempelkamp in 2000 that has since been overhauled, a thermal exhaust air cleaning system and a partition saw from Teal Sales. According to the auction prospectus, the 8x24 ft 14-opening press has a designed capacity of roughly 480m sqft (3/8” basis) or almost 400,000 m3. In addition, a gap detection system from Fagus GreCon, new press cylinders, a number of hydraulic pumps and conveyor belts are available.
