US-based 3D printing material developer Taulman3D has selected VisiPak as the sole manufacturer of a new industrial 3D-printing material ‘T-Glase’.
VisiPak, a division of Sinclair & Rush, has joined forces with Taulman3D to develop the new T-Glase industrial strength material in a bid to support the majority of 3D printers.
VisiPak and the Sinclair & Rush Companies sales and marketing director Jeff Barket said, "3D printing is an exciting market with amazing potential that is already being realized."
The companies have developed T-Glase mainly for low temperature 3D printers or users of polylactic acid (PLA).
T-Glase filament maintains the characteristic strength of the materials and does not suffer warpage to the same degree as high temperature materials.
The material has been designed for 3D printing at temperatures ranging from 207°C up to 235°C, optimally 212°C to 224°C.
