Capital Brewery is delaying its expansion project in Sauk City, in the US state of Wisconsin for at least three to six months.
This comes after Capital Brewery operations director Brian Destree has decided to step down as the person in charge of the expansion project, reports Wisconsin State Journal.
The brewery's general manager Tom Stitgen departed and it faced a lawsuit from former employees and shareholders, since the expansion project was announced in 2013.
Work under the proposed expansion project includes the construction of a brewing facility, which will see an investment of around $11m.
The proposed facility, which will be capable of brewing over 100,000 barrels annually, will include a bottling and canning line, according to the Journal.
Capital's facility in Middleton will be used for small-batch beers and events at its outdoor beer garden.
