The latest Delta World Tire facility is the company's first in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Delta World Tire Co. recently opened its 16th location. The newly constructed 9,600-square-foot facility is located in Hattiesburg, Miss.
The store features 10 service bays and a comfortable showroom. Mike Carlisle Jr. is the manager.
Delta World Tire is a family run business that first opened its doors in New Orleans in 1938. It has since grown to 16 locations across the Mississippi and Louisiana Gulf Coast. The other locations in Mississippi are in Picayune, Waveland, Gulfport, Biloxi and Pascagoula. In Louisiana, the company has operations in New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, Houma, Lafayette, Lake Charles and New Iberia.
Delta World Tire carries more than 30,000 tires in inventory, including the Michelin, BFGoodrich, Cooper, Uniroyal, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Firestone, Continental, General, Dunlop, Pirelli, Toyo, Yokohama, Hancook, Falken and Kumho brands. In addition to tires, the company offers "complete, quality automotive repair and preventative maintenance" performend by ASE-certified technicians.
"We also offer scheduled maintenance services recommended by vehicle manufacturers," adds the company.
Delta World Tire will soon release details about a grand-opening celebration for the Hattiesburg location that will include giveaways, refreshments, special discounts and a raffle.
Delta World Tire is 67th on the Modern Tire Dealer 100 list of largest independent tire dealers in the United States.
