German manufacturer of aerosol packaging components the Lindal Group has launched its new Global Innovation Center in Briey, France.
This facility will tap the company's aerosol expertise and support more customers in development of new generation packaging solutions, said the company.
The new center will be managed by Hervé Bodet.
Lindal Group's Innovation & New Product Development vice president Katharina Lilienthal said this was another example of Lindal Group's commitment to long-term strategic planning.
"This new, independent Lindal entity is a true Center of Excellence, and is home to our formidable arsenal of collective expertise and capabilities," said Lilienthal.
"Our GlobalInnovationCenter will enable us to provide our customers with new levels of technical support and easier access to our company's world of best practices and invaluable institutional knowledge.
"As a result," Lilienthal said, "this powerful new transnational R&D resource will give us, and our customers, a major competitive advantage."
Lindal Group's Global Innovation Center, designed as an R&D hub, will improve time-to-market, speed commercialization of new products and enhance overall quality, Lilienthal said.
The Center will have five departments, including development and engineering, central laboratory, technical and market watch, tool room and industrialization department.
