US-based Batory Foods has introduced Simply Crisps, a crisp product high in protein for bakers and cereal manufacturers.
In addition to Fonterra Whey Crisps under the Batory's ingredient list, Simply Crisps offers a wider choice. The new crisps are high in quality, free of rBGH, have no flavours and is made up of 60% protein.
The latest product is available in two formulations: milk and whey protein brand (Simply Crisps Milk/Whey) and milk and soy protein combination (Simply Crisps Milk/Soy).
Batory Foods Proteins and Lecithins senior product manager Vanessa Hodges was quoted by Foodingredientfirst.com as saying that the new product will fill a real marketplace need for protein crisps.
"These blends allow us to pass on efficiencies and savings to our customers - without sacrificing quality or taste," Hodges added.
