Moelven Tom Heurlin Commissioned a New Superplan 10V-S300 Planing Line

22.11.2012 − On 19 November, the industrial planing mill Moelven Tom Heurlin commissioned a new Superplan 10V-S300 planing line supplied by the Slovenian mechanical-engineering company Ledinek Engineering. The new line replaced the existing planing line as part of a modernisation programme for the mill. In addition, a type AKE Millmaster HPS 1500 Twin band resaw from the Swedish mechanical-engineering company S?derhamn Eriksson was installed in order to enable parallel sawing of rough-sawn lumber. As a result of the modernisation, annual planed-goods production capacity has been increased from 50,000 m3 to 80,000 m3. In January 2013, a Woodeye scanner system from the Swedish company Innovativ Vision is also to be installed.
