TE Keeps Its March Price Unchanged in Taiwan Domestic Market

Tang Eng Iron Works (TE), one of the major stainless steel mills in Taiwan, has announced to keep its March price unchanged in Taiwan domestic market. TE's vice president said to calculate by mill's cost.

The company actually still has some room to move up its price. However, in order to compete with the import stainless steel sources, the company has finally decided to keep it price flat.

TE's vice president also said its monthly production quantity has improved from about 13,000 to 14,000 tons per month at the weakest time in 2012 to go back 20,000 tons per month level currently.

TE said the recent market demand has stayed firmly. Therefore, its Q1 sales revenue number should still look up further.
