Henkel will exhibit its labeling and packaging adhesives for the beverage and liquid food industries at Drinktec 2013 trade fair taking place between September 16 and 20 in Munich, Germany.
The company will introduce its casein-free adhesive Aquence XP 190 for the labeling of glass containers.
According to the company, the adhesive offers good initial tack with fast curing and drying and exhibits good adhesion. It is said to serve as an economically sustainable alternative to conventional labeling adhesives for the beverage and liquid food industries.
At the event, the company will also introduce its hotmelt adhesive Technomelt Supra 100 Cool, which is suitable for the bonding of packaging such as six packs and larger beverage boxes.
The adhesive exhibits low application temperature, which reduces energy input by as much as 50%, the company said.
