Analogic is demonstrating its BK Medical-branded ultrasound imaging system at the 38th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) held at New Orleans, US.
The solutions being presented include Flex Focus 500 ultrasound system with Quantum Technology and the Ultrasonix-branded SonixTablet with GPS needle guidance.
The Flex system with Quantum Technology offers improved contrast resolution, gray scale maps, and image pre-sets that enable high-quality images.
In addition, Quantum Technology features Vector Flow Imaging (VFI) mode that enables angle independent visualization of blood flow and a color Doppler mode that offers spatial resolution.
The SonixTablet with SonixGPS ultrasound guidance technology includes options that assist clinicians in positioning the transducer in the ideal location for the target, and to select a needle angle that is direct and comfortable for each patient.
The compact platform also offers a needle enhancement feature called SonixShine, which highlights the needle in-plane with the push of a button.
Analogic said the ultrasound products will be presented at SIR till 18 April 2013.
