Water-soluble polymer-based films producer MonoSol has expanded its manufacturing plant located at Hartlebury in the UK.
The company's Hartlebury facility manufactures products including MonoDose films, which are used in Aquafilm water-soluble laundry bags.
According to MonoSol, the plant has been expanded by 40% to cater to the rising demand for its MonoDose water-soluble delivery systems in the European market.
MonoSol president and CEO Scott Bening said, "Consistent with our global growth plans, we continue to invest in increasing our capacity to meet rising market demand, including European manufacturing and distribution capabilities."
MonoSol, which operates as a subsidiary of Kuraray, provides a range of water-soluble delivery systems for unit-dose applications for consumer, agricultural chemicals and industrial products, as well as additional films, solutions and compounds.
