Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product manufacturers in Taiwan announced to remain its prices for rebar, section steel and scrap unchanged for this week. Meanwhile, the new price announcement met market participants’ expectation. After the price announcement, its list prices foe rebar and section steel are at NT$17,200/ton and NT$19,100~NT$19,300/ton respectively. Meanwhile, its scrap purchasing prices are at NT$10,500~NT$11,400/ton. Affected by weak demand, it is expected that the transaction price of rebar will be in the range of NT$16,500~16,700/ton. |
