US-based packaging technology provider Automated Packaging Systems (APS) has introduced new line of AirPouch void-fill and protective packaging systems and materials in Columbia.
The new AirPouch systems provide inflatable air pillows, bubbles and tubes used for void-fill, protective wrapping, blocking, bracing and packing applications.
New systems include AirPouch Express 3 system, which produces void-fill air pillows at the rate of 15m per minute and the AirPouch FastWrap system producing cellular cushioning wrap at 20m per minute.
The new products are claimed to have EZ-Tear perforations for operator speed and can be shipped in boxes as well as used at the packing station for maximum production efficiency.
According to the company, the inflatable protective packaging products offer various advantages including user-friendly and increase product visibility inside the box over traditional packing materials.
