Japanese car maker Nissan has unveiled the production version of Juke Nismo crossover at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France.
The new Nismo crossover will be powered by a tuned1.6 litre direct injection turbo engine.
According to Nissan, the regular 2WD six-speed manual transmission Nissan Juke model will generate 188 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque, as well as offers 0-100 km/h in 8.0 seconds.
Nissan Juke Nismo crossover will feature stiffened suspension settings and new modified steering for direct handling and enhanced traction control.
In addition, the vehicle will be fitted with with torque vectoring, a technology which will offer improved grip and cornering capacity.
The crossover was unveiled as a concept vehicle at the Tokyo and Geneva international Motor Shows and will be produced at Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK in Sunderland.
Nissan said that the European sales of Nismo are scheduled to begin by January 2013, while it will also be on sale in Japan and the US.
