Clinverse has entered into a partnership with OmniComm Systems to combine its automated payment system 'ClinPay' with the latter's electronic data capture (EDC) system.
The ClinPay system automates sponsor payments to clinical vendors, investigators, and other parties across the entire financial lifecycle of a clinical trial, while OmniComm's TrialMaster EDC suite automates data collection and data validation.
TrialMaster EDC offers the capabilities of centralized monitoring with auto-redaction and automated SDTM export utility, to provide efficient and cost-effective trial management.
Clinverse president and head of strategic partnerships Steve Ayala said, "OmniComm's global footprint expands Clinverse's reach to a broader international audience of pharmaceutical and biotech companies, CROs, research, and medical device organizations that can greatly benefit from automated payment capabilities in conjunction with their EDC services."
Clinverse's open application programming interface (API) provides seamless integration with existing systems, such as OmniComm's EDC system and also other external eclinical data sources including CTMS, IxRS, ERP systems and data warehouses.
With the combined solution, sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) are assured to get accurate and direct financial transaction data feeds that are automatically routed through the appropriate channels, resulting in consistent and timely payments.
The solution also automatically evaluates study data within the EDC system against contract criteria and directly generates financial deals and all related account information.
