L-MED has entered into a new three year agreement to distribute Misonix's SonaStar ultrasonic surgical aspirator and the BoneScalpel ultrasonic bone cutter.
Under the agreement, L-MED gained rights to sell SonaStar aspirator and the BoneScalpel bone cutter throughout Croatia and Slovenia.
The SonaStar ultrasonic surgical aspirator aids neuro and general surgeons to remove hard and soft tumors, while the BoneScalpel system is used for making cuts through bone and hard tissue to preserve delicate soft tissue structures.
Misonix said the agreement also included annual minimum purchase requirements.
Misonix president and chief executive officer Michael McManus said, "We are pleased to see L-MED join our growing family of distributors in Europe; their presence fills one of our last remaining gaps in worldwide coverage."
