American fast food chain Taco Bell has launched a new dessert menu as well as a larger-sized steak nachos,in an effort to compete with higher-end restaurants.
The new dessert menu includes a new cookie sandwich which features two triangular chocolate chip cookies,filled with vanilla cream-available for$1.29.The menu also includes a churro for$0.99.These items will complement the company's existing dessert range,which includes caramel apple empanada and bite-sized Cinnamon Twists.
The new XXL Steak Nachos contains triple portion of the upgraded version of braised steak with melted cheese,guacamole and pico de gallo on a pile of tortilla chips.It is available at$5.99,while the regular ground beef or chicken variation will be available at$4.99.
Taco Bell also plans to test two products this month.A Double Steak Quesadilla will be tested in Charlotte,North Carolina,while a Smothered Burrito will be tested in Dayton,Ohio.
