Two North Carolina, US-based companies, the upholstery manufacturer Burlington Technologies (BT) and contractual fabric weaver Bentex Mills, have entered into a partnership to facilitate advanced strategic potential and increased marketing prospects for each other.
As per the agreement, the means and resources of the two business segments would be merged, while rest of the things like product design, quality, sales and marketing will all remain independent of each other.
Burlington Technologies said that Bentex will continue to operate as a separate division of BT, and its owner Mr. Ernest Benbassat will remain the president of the Bentex division.
The association between the two business operations would equally benefit the residential and contractual clients because it will provide a varied and wider set of capabilities in terms of manufacturing skills, equipment, design proficiency, yarn toolbox and product offerings, the companies said.
Established in 1987, Bentex Mills specializes in customized textile products for health care, hospitality and office furnishings. It creates, develops and manufactures a wide range of fabrics, including seating, bedding, drapery, wall cover, panel and cubicle privacy curtain.
Founded in 2007, Burlington Technologies operates various business units, including 'BMS' which is a yarn package dyeing division, as well as a residential decorative fabrics operation named 'Se7en'.
