The OnePlus One is going on sale for just two hours on January 20, meaning willing buyers can bag the high-end budget blower invite-free.
OnePlus says it will begin flogging the devices starting at 19:00 GMT, with the promotion period ending shortly thereafter at 21:00 GMT.
Both versions – that’s the 16GB Silk White model at £229, and the 64GB Sandstone Black model at £269 – will be available to buy.
A common crticisim of OnePlus is that the invite-only system is a huge barrier for entry to many customers otherwise willing to part with their cash.
OnePlus claims it introduced the system to ensure careful control of stock levels, and make sure they didn’t become overburdened with orders, or produce a big surplus of units.
This isn’t the first time OnePlus has made its One handset available to buy directly, so if you miss out this time around, it’s likely there’ll be another chance to pick one up in the near future.
OnePlus recently revealed it had managed to sell one million handsets last year, despite only launching in June with just a single SKU.
The firm has also confirmed that a OnePlus Two is in the works, although details are unsurprisingly light on this for now.

So what will your £229/£269 get you? Quite a bit, actually. The One comes packing a 5.5-inch 1080p display with a 401ppi pixel density.
It also rocks a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 chip, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter to boot.
It’s 4G friendly, comes with Android 4.4 KitKat, and is confirmed to be getting the Lollipop update starting next month
