Beverage Equipment Maker Groupe Sidel Has Opened a Technical Center in Beijing

Beverage equipment maker Groupe Sidel has opened a technical center in Beijing, its first in China. The center has blow molding machines, laboratories and automation equipment. Le Havre, France-based Sidel said Asia is the "epicenter" of beverage industry growth and as a result local training needs are growing. The facility, which opened June 16, includes labs with simulation benches for filling equipment, training on the use of blow molding equipment and classrooms with interactive manufacturing simulation models. The Beijing center has "best in class" capabilities, the company said. It joins similar Sidel technical centers in Octeville, France; Parma, Italy; Guadalajara, Mexico; Sã o Paulo, Brazil; Atlanta and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Source: Plastics News
