POC,the manufacturer of snow and cycling helmets,apparel and accessories,hired Josh Fonner as US bike sales manager.Fonner has a long history in the bike industry,working most recently as western retail services manager and eastern sales manager for Giant Bicycles.He joins POC as they enter the road cycling market with the AVIP product line.
"I have known Josh since his early days in a bike shop and watched him grow as a serious influencer within the bike world.We are excited to have him aboard,"said Jarka Duba,President of POC USA."His expertise and passion for the industry will play a large role in our growth as we launch POC into the road cycling world and continue to offer best-in-class mountain bike products."
Fonner will join the POC team at its North American headquarters in Aspen,Colorado.No stranger to POC's roots in the ski industry,he has worked for Elan,Tecnica and Volkl in the past and ski raced through college.Fonner's competitive exploits now primarily take place on two wheels.He has recently raced some of the world's most storied mountain bike races,including the Cape Epic,BC Bike Race,La Ruta and the Leadville 100.
