Leading UK urban fashion store, 5 Pointz, has unveiled a brand new range of streetwear for Spring by hot indie label Only NY.
The collection has a distinctive vintage aesthetic, but the classic looks are aligned with thoroughly modern tailoring. There are also strong nautical themes running through the collection.
The popular New York brand has been creating timeless urban classics since 1997, and the latest drop to arrive at 5 Pointz celebrates this, with a 1997 motif recurring across a number of items in the range.
The entire collection carries a retro-inspired aesthetic and like all good streetwear there are a number of sporting references too; not least from the Only NY Rugby Top in black/heather grey or royal blue/ red. This custom heavyweight top features a logo screen print across the central section of the top, and traditional rugby collar.
The Only NY Track Crewneck Sweatshirt is a more conventional offering but still retains a vintage styling in its chest print logo. Available in blue or heather grey, the Track Crewneck Sweatshirt features a print which reads ‘Only 1997 New York City’. It is guaranteed to be an extremely popular piece with regular 5 Pointz shoppers.
The logo also features in the Only NY Track Tank Top Vest, and there are a number of tank top vests available from the spring summer range; from the Only NY Wavey Tank Top Vest to the Sailing Tank Top Vest, both of which offers completely new takes on the Only chest print logo.
The Only NY Seaghull Tank Top is available in navy and tan. This brilliant vest forgoes the Only chest plate altogether in favour of a screen print seaghull on the left chest.
Every new Only NY range features some excellent new socks, and the Only NY spring 13 collection is no different. Only NY Track Socks are available in a choice of colours and all are emblazoned with a 1997 logo. Herring Socks do exactly what they say on the label: a pair of great looking sports socks features a recurring woven herring logo; continuing the nautical themes of the collection.
