This year's GlassBuild America, the annual trade show for the North American window and glass industries in Atlanta, was held from 10 to 12 September. About 350 exhibiting companies presented a range of innovations to around 6,000 attendees, all of them experts in the North American glass industry.
LiSEC showcased a combined cutting machine for float and laminated glass, whose compact design perfectly meets the demands of many customers in this region. The expert audience was offered the opportunity to learn more about the machine and its features in several live production runs per day, and experience the productivity achieved by the new system.
Another highlight exhibited by LiSEC was the horizontal washing machine, which was presented for the first time in North America. The major share of glass processing in America is still performed horizontally, which is why great interest was taken in this machine. The fact that it can open wide for maintenance, together with plenty of other technical goodies, make this machine stand out from competitors' products.
The aesthetic, artistic images of the company's product portfolio were another highlight at the LiSEC booth. These, combined with machine innovations and a pleasant atmosphere for discussions with customers, were so convincing that LiSEC was awarded 'Best in Show' for the best booth with machinery.
This year the number and quality of visitors to the trade show was equally high as in past years. Considering the contracts concluded during the show and the business expected after it, the upward trend in North America continues to be noticeable.
High-quality products, along with the first-class customer support and after-sales service provided by the Minneapolis subsidiary, are the cornerstones of the company's success in North America. Another factor for success probably is that customers know that LiSEC is more than just a supplier of machinery, it is a partner that does not let your company down in tough economic periods and offers you best support at all times.
