Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, has announced that in March this year its iron ore concentrate production increased by 1.1 percent year on year to 892,000 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given month increased by 25 percent year on year to 235,000 mt.
In the January-March period of this year, Evraz UGOK saw stable iron ore concentrate production compared to the same period last year, at 2.590 million mt, while its output of agglomerate in the given period rose by 31.7 percent year on year to 702,000 mt.
