Firm Is Going to Handle Marketing and Distribution of Kickstarter Hit

Vivid Imaginations Picks up Rights to Real FX

Firm will handle marketing and distribution of Kickstarter hit.

Vivid Imaginations has picked up the rights to Kickstarter hit Real FX.

The firm will handle the marketing and distribution of Real FX in the UK/ROI, France, Benelux, Austria and Germany. The product is set to launch in the UK from autumn 2015.

Developed by Wow Stuff's technical division, Wow Labs, and launched to international markets in Hong Kong during the October trade fair, Real FX has now been snapped up in most major territories.

Using Artificial Intelligence Real FX claims to offer the most realistic driving experience in remote cars ever created. It uses a slotless and customisable track that sets up and takes down in less than two minutes, and features infrared Opto sensors on the cars reading the track at 200 times per second.

Real FX has been granted three global patents having been developed over more than five years by a team of US and UK-based robotics scientists at Wow Labs.

Wow Labs Dr Graeme Taylor commented: "It's all about replicating and real life car racing. You need to find the best racing line, drift in and out of the bends, and pick your moment to take the lead. It's like video game racing meets slot racing, but in real life and of course with no slots."

Marketing director at Vivid, Mary Wood, added: "We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Wow Stuff in such a groundbreaking and fantastic product and brand.

"This will be the centrepiece at our upcoming trade fairs. We have extremely high hopes for 2015 and beyond."

Real FX will benefit from TV advertising, a bespoke website and an integrated PR and social media campaign surrounding the launch.
