Mexico's Apparent Consumption of Steel Long Products in May Rises by 6.2% From a Month Ago

According to data of the Mexican steel chamber (Canacero), Mexico’s apparent consumption of steel long products totaled 610,144 tons in May, rising by 6.2% from a month ago.

In the first five months of this year, the country’s steel longs consumption amounted to 2.94 million tons, falling by 4.7% year on year.

In the given period of time, the country’s rebar shipments totaled 1.2 million tons, down by 1.2% year on year.
