Galaxy Note 7 Could Be Bigger Than We Thought

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy Note 7 (or 6) phablet, and the leaks and rumours are starting to pile up.

Just this past week we've had news of a possible USB Type-C connection, and caught our best glimpse yet at the upcoming device's design thanks to a set of renders from prolific leaker Evan Blass.

And now, a listing on India's import-export site Zauba suggests we could be getting a larger version of the Galaxy Note 7 than we thought.

The device was expected to come with a 5.7-inch display, but the Zauba listing appears to suggest it will actually ship with a 6-inch screen.

Alternatively, it could be that Samsung is planning to release a larger variant of the Note 7 – releasing both a 5.7-inch and 6-inch handset.

The listing itself is for a test version of the phone, and includes the model number SM-N930, which has previously been reported as the internal code for the Note 7.

As the IB Times, states, it's unlikely that Samsing would be testing the final version at this point, as the handset is expected to be launched at a dedicated event on August 2.

Which, again, points to this larger version being a variant on the main design.

Previously however, Evan Blass reported the phablet will only come in one version with a dual curved edge screen, although no mention of larger models was made.

The phone itself is also expected to include a Snapdragon 820 or 823 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and come in three colour variants: Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Blue Coral.

There's been no word from Samsung on whether we can expect a larger model, so at this point it's still worth taking today's Galaxy Note 7 leak with due caution.
