Integrated telemedicine solutions provider GlobalMed has unveiled new platform eNcounter as well as image automation software CapSure to simplify usage of telemedicine for providers.
eNcounter features preconfigured and integrated workflow that allows it to automatically close the unnecessary program before starting another.
CapSure offers better user-experience through high-definition imagery and full control of the video-conference, while enabling users to acquire, store and forward DICOM medical images with an interface.
The interface is claimed to help connect with CapSure Cloud cloud-based services or other third-party PACS servers.
GlobalMed founder and managing director Joel Barthelemy said that one of the company's goals is to design and implement effective, high functioning innovation engines that simplify the care delivery process.
"This can really only be achieved through collaboration with clinicians, patients, and cross-functional teams. eNcounter and CapSure 2 are the latest results of those efforts," Barthelemy added.
According to the company, the eNcounter and CapSure work on GlobalMed telemedicine stations including i8500, FirstExam, LiteExam and the Transportable Exam Station.
