Japanese brewery Asahi has developed a robotic beer pouring machine for high-volume bars with a capacity to pour six beers in 12 seconds.
The company has developed the beer pouring machine in collaboration with Nagoya-based robotics company NST to address the problem of beer wastage in bars.
The machine works like a robot and does not need human effort to operate. It offers zero wastage. The company is planning to introduce this new technology within two years.
Asahi senior chief research Junichi Kitano was quoted by thedrinksbusiness.com citing Gizmag as saying that Asahi want to create a unique experience for customers in developing the new draft beer dispenser.
"We're hoping this new machine will be an important factor," Kitano added.
