Lucette Taps The New Beer Market with Its New Aluminum Packaging in Daughter Beer

US-based Lucette Brewing Company is all set to tap the new beer market in western Wisconsin with its new aluminum packaging.

According to the company, it has started offering Farmer's Daughter beer in cans as the new aluminum packaging helps the beer stand out on shelves.

Lucette co-founder Mike Wilson was quoted by thenorthwestern.com as saying that the company has chosen aluminum cans because they keep out light and oxygen, two elements that are bad for beer.

"Most craft breweries use bottles, which are cheaper because labels can easily be affixed to bottles but cans must be printed with specific labels. We believe we are the first craft brewery in the country to produce 16-ounce six-pack craft beer in cans," Wilson said.
