As announced by the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of China's Hebei Province, in July this year the province imported 9.63 million mt of iron ore, with a value of $1.17 billion. The import volume was up 23.15 percent, while the import value was up 19.39 percent, both year on year.
In June this year, the province had imported 7.499 million mt of iron ore, with a value of $895 million, up 7.3 percent and 2.3 percent year on year, respectively.
