Dieffenbacher has forged a partnership in the filed of lumberyard technology with Holtec. This comes after the group entered into partnerships with the Canadian firm Carmanah and with Leonhardt during the fourth quarter of 2012. Holtec is to supply woodyard components for Dieffenbacher’s complete systems in this partnership.
The roundwood handling, conditioning and debarking systems provided by Holtec in the future will enable Dieffenbacher to round off its portfolio of front-end technology. The companies will also work together to refine woodyard technology with an initial focus on de-barking systems. Both companies will remain independent, with no structural ties between the two.
