Cosmo Films has introduced new biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) based black velvet lamination films.
The films have been developed to provide a black colour and velvet touch to the laminated paper/paperboard or package, enabling to enhance its aesthetics.
The new black velvet lamination films can also be used for post lamination processes such as spot UV, foil stamping and printing.
New black coloured BOPP based velvet touch lamination film have to be laminated to the unprinted paper earlier to the printing or post lamination embellishments.
The films, which are available for both thermal and wet lamination in 32μ and 21μ, are glueable, stampable and printable in nature.
In addition luxury packaging applications, the black velvet films can also be used for high end promotional material and stationery such as coffee table books, magazines, brochures, manuals, posters, shopping bags, wedding cards, gift boxes, calendars and diaries.
Cosmo Films sales and marketing global head S. Satish said: “The launch of black velvet lamination films has added a new dimension to our range of premium lamination films and the exciting fact is that this development can be replicated in other colours as well.
The films have been commercialized and the response so far has been extremely encouraging.”
Cosmo Films produces BOPP films, which can be used for packaging, labels and lamination applications.
