Universal Insurance, a Puerto Rico-based provider of insurance and financial services, is planning to upgrade to Cover-All's new policy administration platform and its commercial lines products.
The products include commercial auto, commercial package, such as property, general liability, inland marine, crime, boiler & machinery, as well as EPLI and umbrella.
According to Cover-All, the upgrade will enable Universal to ransform their core commercial lines operations including rating, quoting, underwriting, document generation/management and distribution while improving collaboration and productivity.
Universal Insurance Company chief underwriting officer Luis Berrios said, ''Upgrading our existing Cover-All platform to Cover-All's new policy products will enable us to be responsive, efficient and unique in the Commercial Lines marketplace in Puerto Rico.''
Universal Group chief administrative officer Luis Pérez Sánchez said the company is planning to implement Cover-All's new products within the next three to six months.
''Cover-All's new products are totally rethought, re-architected and re-built with modern technology. Cover-All has been serving the Puerto Rico market for decades and understands our business as well as the local marketplace,'' Sánchez added.
