3D Systems announced today that it plans to host several Manufacturing Day open house events on Friday October 4, 2013. 3D Systems invites the public to participate in a series of interactive demonstrations of its latest professional and consumer content-to-print products including its production-grade printers.
The company plans to showcase its advanced metal, plastic, ceramic and full color printing capabilities along with its innovative design and inspection tools and its award winning consumer 3D printers, Cube and CubeX. Participating locations include the company’s headquarters in Rock Hill, S.C., its advanced research and manufacturing location in Andover, Mass., and its software center in Morrisville, N.C. Registration remains open until Friday October 4, 2013 at 9am.
Manufacturing Day gives leading American manufacturing companies the opportunity to open their doors in unity and tell today’s story of advanced manufacturing. Manufacturing Day is co-produced and sponsored by manufacturing industry organizations including Fabricators & Manufacturers Association (FMA), U.S. Department of Commerce’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), National Association of Manufacturers, Manufacturing Institute and the Science Channel.
