And this is where the design team from Formafantasma comes into play.Formafantasma has expanded the realms of organic meets lightinfluenced interior lighting with this almost translucent design in the shape of a leaf.Introducing the Light Species, featuring the appearanceof a traditional bulb that appears to have halted its natural process of transforming into a leaf.
This poetic(green)reference is a continuationof previous design work by'Studio Botanica'.The vessel of the Light Species is composed of a a 19th century material reformatted by Formafantasma, featuring polymer extracted from insect excrement that colonize trees mixed with wood powder. The light can be hung as a single piece, but would also be great as a collection of glowing leafs.
