Taiwan-based LED lead frame maker I-Chiun Precision Industry recorded consolidated revenues of NT$3.382 billion (US$113 million), gross margin of 10.53%, net operating profit of NT$59.5 million, net profit of NT$82.6 million and net EPS of NT$0.41 for the first half of 2013, according to the company.
As the outlook on the China LCD TV market in the second half of 2013 is vague due to the government ending subsidies for energy-saving products, I-Chiun has an order visibility of less than one month, the company said.
I-Chiun generated consolidated revenues of NT$575 million for July, dropping 0.39% on month and 5.60% on year, and those of NT$3.957 billion for January-July, growing on year by 15.91%.
In related news, Taiwan-based LED packaging house Edison Opto hit record consolidated revenues of NT$301 million for July, increasing 2.22% on month and 51.21% on year, while high-brightness LED epitaxial wafer and chip maker Epileds Technologies saw July consolidated revenues of NT$106 million shrink 2.84% on month and 10.25% on year.
