Disney has revealed a selection of the items in its 1,000-strong portfolio of Monsters University toys in New York.
Never known to do things by halves, the firm kicked off with a marching band, as well as appearances from the film's talent including John Goodman (pictured) and Billy Crystal.
The actors were presented with custom-built toys of their characters in the movie.
The new toy line includes action figures, vehicles, play-sets, plush figures, pre-school and remote control items.
Monsters University will also be supported with lines in stationery, apparel and accessories, home décor, books, magazines, food and health and beauty items. There will also be an exclusive collection available at the Disney Store.
