Papouli's Greek Grill has launched six new menu items for calorie conscious consumers.The new dishes do not contain the heavy sauces and fats that are used to enhance flavor,the company said.
The new menu items include Feta Milano with Pitas,Flame Grilled Salmon Filet,Nisi Orzo,Greek Yogurt Parfait,and Flame Grilled Shrimp Skewers,reported Bizjournals.com.
Papouli's Greek Grill operating leader and chef Alex Moseley said while the new dishes were inspired by the flavors spices in traditional Greek food,the company has put further efforts to lower oil and fat.
The new recipes have been developed over a year through trial and error as well as taste testing,Moseley added.
Papouli's Greek Grill,established in 2002,offers traditional and contemporary Greek cuisine.
