With effect as from 30 July, Looser Holding has acquired all shares in Polish door and door-frame manufacturer Invado. The purchase price has not been revealed. The company, founded in 1990 with a production portfolio including ornamental, veneered and glass functional doors, sliding doors and door frames, according to Looser achieved turnover to the equivalent of CHF31m with approximately 420 employees in the 2012 financial year. Exports account for about 50% of turnover. Invado's export operations are divided into three sales regions - northern Europe/CIS states, northern Germany/south-eastern Europe and central Europe/western Europe.
