Spanish ANFAC published the data recently that Spanish automobile production reached 1.979 million in 2012, down 16.6% compared to 2011.
Although the whole year’s automobile production two double-digit declined year on year, Spanish automobile production rose again in December of 2012, which reached 118,596, up 7% compared to the same period of 2011.
Spain totally produced 1.539 million passenger cars in 2012, with a drop of 16.28% year on year; the passenger cars’ production was 92,255 in December of 2012, up 12.23% compared to the same period of 2011.
Spanish auto exports reached 105,912 in December of 2012, with a rise of 9.41% compared to the same period of 2011. However, the total auto exports declined 18.48% in 2012 compared to 2011.
