It’s reported that Korean steel giant Posco has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Cameroon government to develop steel industry jointly.
Cameroon owns 5 billion tons of iron ore deposits and is ideally to supply steel materials to counties around the Gulf of Guinea, showing a rise of more than 8% in steel consumption annually.
Under the agreement, Posco and Cameroon government plan to develop a steel industry for the West Africa steel market.
