Packaging machinery provider Theegarten-Pactec is planning to expand its facility at Dresden in Germany to 50,000sqm with an investment of over €30m.
As part of the plan, the company will add a new building complex, which is expected to start construction in the spring 2014 and would be completed by mid-2017.
The new complex, which is expected to house production facilities and office space, is expected to address the demand for smaller projects and more automation.
Theegarten-Pactec managing director Markus Rustler said the company has outgrown its existing premises.
"The additional floor space is a fundamental resource in terms of our long-term growth objectives," Rustler added.
The company is expected to add about 50 new jobs to its existing staff of 350 employees following the completion of the project.
