H. B. Fuller Lüneburg Adhesive Academy Awarded LEED Certification

H.B. Fuller has announced that its newest technical centre of excellence, the Adhesive Academy in Lüneburg, Germany, is LEED certified to the Gold level. It is the first laboratory building in Germany that has achieved a Gold certification under version LEED v2009 NC (New Construction).

H.B. Fuller recognizes that the world's finite resources create a need to minimize environmental impact, while creating value for its customers. This includes improving the environmental performance of buildings and building activities, which has become a key factor to achieve global climate and sustainability goals.

LEED - an acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental DesignT - is a registered trademark of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The USGBC's LEED green building program is the preeminent program for the design, construction, maintenance and operations of high-performance green buildings. With over 25,000 registered and over 3,800 certified projects, LEED is the most established global sustainability certificate for buildings. It recognizes performance in sustainable site development, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality and Innovation, and design process.
