Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has won two contracts worth EUR68m to supply components within the fluid transfer segment from two unnamed major commercial vehicle makers.
Under the first EUR26m contract from a truck manufacturer, the company will deliver hose assemblies for turbo lubrication and cooling for two of the clients' global engine programs, which are developed to meet new Euro VI and US13 emission standards.
KA will manufacture these components, expected to begin by 2013 and extend for five years, in two locations which include Epila, Spain and Pickens, SC in the US.
Under the second contract worth EUR42m from US based truck and engine builder, the company will extend its supply of fuel, oil, air and turbo drain until 2016.
