Telcare has launched new wireless Diabetes Pal app suite, designed for managing people with diabetes and improving self-management of blood glucose.
The Diabetes Pal App for Android, which can be utilized by Telcare BGM and non-Telcare BGM users, features automatic and manual entry options, desktop access from Mac or PC, printable reports, store BG, Food and Medication Notes and offline and online modes.
Telcare chief executive officer Jonathan Javitt said the release of Diabetes Pal for Android-based devices is a strong milestone for the company as a wireless-focused medical-technology company.
"More importantly, it increases the universe of people with diabetes, family members, and healthcare professionals who are now able to analyze, organize and share glucose readings captured by the Telcare BGM glucose meter," Javitt added.
